Hi friends,

Just about 10 days ago i came back from India and in there i was staying in the community of Auroville this year for about 2 months only. While there i really learned to enjoy contact improvisation i never tried before and went 3 times a week because i just loved it. In the past i have tried different kinds of meditations from Vipassana to Osho but none of them is more fun and deep at the same time as contact dance.

When i came back to London i went to try the class and jam here. It was also nice but more technical than the one i got used to in India. Somebody there told me that in Europe contact improvisation is usually more focused on technique and less on emotional awareness and having fun which is a shame. In Auroville there was so much communal feeling and love in the class and i'm missing that kind of energy here.

So now i'm looking for some people who would be interested to start a kind of contact dance community in London we could go to a park once in a while to do a jam. Last Sunday i went to Greenwich park with a friend and we were playing on the grass it was great fun. Especially now in the summer it is so easy to go out to play like children.

Anyone else interested?
