Hi All,
Meet me in the desert for a CI class, swim, & potluck!
I'm leaving the blossoms of Virginia for California vistas and hope you'll join me for an afternoon. The class, Awareness in Motion, blends CI skills with meditative presence, spontaneous wonder with playful awareness, listening deeply in bend and stretch and responding to the twists and pulls of the moment.

Briefly about me: I teach at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University and lead workshops in the U.S. and abroad. My initial CI teachers include Steve Paxton, Nancy Stark Smith, and Simone Forti. If not dancing, I'm writing, most recently Contact Improvisation: an Introduction to a Vitalizing Dance Form.
I look forward to sharing a dance.
